hidden은 <form>문 안에서 쓰는 것이며 사용자에게는 보여지지 않는다.

 

hidden이 가지는 value값을 가진 name의 변수를 현재 파일에서 보여주지 않고 form문의 action에서 주어진 곳으로 넘어가게 해주는 것.

또는 다른 파일에서 넘어 온 변수를 현재 파일에서 활용하지 않고 바로 다음 파일로 넘어가게 해주는 것.
